We're looking for an experienced Head of Data Engineering to lead the development of our modern data platform across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and Power BI.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape data strategy, lead a growing capability and help build scalable, future-ready solutions that support reporting, analytics and emerging AI initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading the development of our modern data platform

- Designing scalable data pipelines and solutions

- Driving data governance, quality and security standards

- Managing and developing a small team

- Working closely with stakeholders across the business

- Supporting our future analytics and AI roadmap

What we're looking for:

- Experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform or Analytics Engineering leadership

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Python and SQL

- Experience delivering cloud-based data solutions

- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills

- A passion for turning data into meaningful business outcomes

Desirable

- Experience within education, apprenticeships or another regulated environment.

- Microsoft and/or Databricks certifications.

- Experience with Power BI semantic models and self-service analytics.

- Knowledge of AI-ready data platforms and emerging analytics technologies.
