Amentum is seeking an AutoCAD/Specialist in Mossville, IL!
Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm ; hours may vary based on needs of the business.
Overtime on Saturdays may be required to meet critical business demand.
Facility Drawings & Documentation
Maintain, update, and organize facility drawings to ensure accurate records of building systems and site infrastructure. Review and revise floor plans, utility layouts, civil site drawings, and equipment locations using AutoCAD and as-built documentation. Coordinating with contractors and projects leads to incorporate facility modifications, maintain drawing archives, and ensure engineering documents are readily available for maintenance, and future capital projects.
LOTO Audit
Performed Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) audits to verify asset availability, labeling accuracy, documentation updates, power source identification, and proper breaker labeling for regulatory and safety compliance.
Conduct Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) audits to verify that assets are physically present on-site, properly identified with accurate labels, and compliant with safety requirements.
Review and update associated documentation to ensure equipment power sources are correctly identified and recorded.
Verify that electrical breaker switches are labeled with the corresponding asset number or equipment name to maintain compliance, improve traceability, and support safe maintenance operations.
Facility Maintenance:
· Help with preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drainage, and building systems if needed.
· Troubleshoot facility issues and identify root causes.
· After identifying the root cause, Find the right contact to fix the issue.
· Perform regular inspections to find safety, structural, or maintenance concerns.
· Conduct site’s assets audits.
Projects & Infrastructure:
· Estimate materials, costs, and project requirements for facility improvements.
· Manage construction and repair projects from planning through completion.
· Track project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance.
Contractor & Safety Management:
· Coordinate contractors, review bids, and manage vendor work.
· Ensure contractors follow OSHA, hot work, and site safety requirements.
· Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update 3-D and solid CAD/CAE models to assist in the development of equipment arrangement, traffic flow and office space.
- Update site maps and emergency posters, site parking and traffic flow maps
- Work from work orders, verbal and written instructions to perform duties. Consult with appropriate individuals as required.
- May visit job sites and make preliminary layouts to check critical design problems, and/or to re-check problem areas.
- Provide drawings that incorporate drafting manual standards and procedures, architectural standards, and other national standards as required.
- Check complex drawings for technical accuracy, errors and completeness.
- Conduct design review of technical documentation and drawings against performance specifications for technical compliance.
- Reviews technical documentation and drawings against as-built equipment for technical accuracy and completeness.
- Apply knowledge of procedures and systems to a broad range of basic issues. May require knowledge of specialized processes or technical skills.
- Maintain files and back-up disks. Run prints for the department.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minium Requirements:
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
- Three years of relevant experience in one or demonstrated equivalent combination of education
Compensation Details:
$25.00-$32.00
