Key Responsibilities
- Provide EHS support and guidance for operational, engineering, construction, and facility-related activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, procedures, and policies that ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate EHS activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, customers, and external organizations as necessary to support safe operations and project execution.
- Maintain expertise in applicable EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 requirements.
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, data center operations, or advanced technology environments is strongly preferred.
- Direct experience with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety requirements and emergency response program management is highly desirable.
- Participate in concept, design, and feasibility reviews to identify and mitigate potential safety, health, and environmental risks early in the project lifecycle.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and compliance evaluations for products, processes, facilities, and projects.
- Perform and support investigations of incidents, injuries, near misses, environmental events, and property damage incidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Utilize structured problem-solving and risk assessment methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, PHA, JHA, and other recognized tools.
- Evaluate and recommend safe work methods, engineering controls, design requirements, operational procedures, and policies.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret EHS data and trends to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support emergency preparedness and response programs, including emergency action plans, drills, exercises, and incident management activities.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs and educational materials for employees, contractors, and business partners.
- Prepare and present EHS reports, project updates, compliance status, and risk assessments to EHS leadership and business stakeholders.
- Participate in regulatory inspections, internal audits, and compliance assessments, ensuring timely resolution of identified gaps.
- Support site emergency response operations and Emergency Response Team (ERT) Members 24/7 as required to respond and/or consult during emergency situations such as chemical releases and spills. Attend Emergency Response training as determined by manager and site level ERT manager.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations, codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience supporting construction safety programs and contractor management activities preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness, emergency response, and incident management principles.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive EHS excellence in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate incidents, analyze data, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, CEM, CIH, CSMC are highly preferred
Physical Requirements
This position may require standing and walking for extended periods; bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and lifting; working in confined or restricted spaces; and operating hand and power
tools. The ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with elevated noise levels may also be required.
- Must be able to wear PPE such as safety shoes, eye protection, fall protection.
- Must be able to walk/stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs.
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds (powered industrial trucks, building alarms).
- Must be able to rapidly respond to emergencies.
- Must be capable of assisting others during evacuations.
- Must be able to see/recognize and respond to dangerous situations.
Work Environment
This role may involve work in laboratories, manufacturing environments, construction areas, cleanrooms, and other industrial settings. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, respirators, chemical-resistant aprons, hearing protection, and face shields.
- This position may require long periods of desk and computer work.
- Working indoors and outdoors to support internal customers.
- Excessive heat/cold based on outdoor climate.
- Working around moving vehicles/objects.
- Working around moving machinery/heavy equipment.
- Working in close proximity to others.
- Working in and around equipment with electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards.
- Working in proximity to loud equipment/systems/alarms.
- This position requires a valid state driver’s license.

- This position requires effective communication throughout all levels of the organization, including but not limited to; r ules of effective business English usage, spelling, punctuation and grammar, proficient in common business software applications such as Microsoft Office and other enterprise software applications. Must be able to present information and train throughout all levels of the organization. Microsoft Teams communication on and off camera.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
