About this role

We are seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join the growing service team. The team is based out of Massachusetts, and serves customers across Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and northern Rhode Island. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, on a steady daytime schedule with a growing team behind you.

What You'll Do as the HVAC Service Technician:

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, equipment, and components
- Perform installations and start-ups of commercial HVAC equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance and inspections to company standards
- Work on chilled water systems, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, controls, and electrical components
- Handle service calls across Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and northern Rhode Island
- Take part in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls
- Document all work accurately in the company's service software or work orders and submit it on time
- Complete daily task hazard analysis (THA) documentation and follow all safety procedure.
- Keep the Service Field Manager, customers, and team members informed on job status and issues
- Build strong customer relationships through professional, high-quality service

Must-Haves as the HVAC Service Technician:

- 2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex commercial HVAC systems
- EPA certification
- Massachusetts Refrigeration License or Oil Burner License. Candidates with an equivalent out-of-state license or actively working toward their MA license will also be considered.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Valid Class D driver's license
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort using an iPhone, iPad, and field service software
- Willingness to join the on-call rotation and back up emergency on-call technicians
- Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical and boiler rooms, and outdoors in all weather, and to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally

Nice-to-Haves as the HVAC Service Technician:

- Vocational or technical training in HVAC or mechanical trades
- Experience with centrifugal and reciprocating chillers, cooling towers, and chilled water systems
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills on HVAC equipment
- Rhode Island or New Hampshire licensing in addition to Massachusetts
- Experience with Raken or similar field service apps
