Scheduler – Utility T&D & Substation

In Office: Scottsdale, AZ Office: 15501 N. Hayden Road, Suite 200, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Travel | Up to 40% domestic travel to project sites Compensation: Based on experience and level

QISG is seeking Mid- and Senior-Level P6 Schedulers to support utility Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Substation EPC projects .

We’re looking for schedulers with 5+ years of utility scheduling experience , specifically in T&D and/or Substation projects. This experience should be clearly reflected on your resume.

You’ll develop and maintain resource- and cost-loaded P6 schedules , perform critical path analysis, forecast schedule impacts, and partner closely with project teams to keep complex EPC projects on track from planning through completion.

What You'll Do

- Develop and manage LSM and CPM Primavera P6 schedules for utility transmission, substation, and renewable projects

- Build and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with baselines and execution strategies

- Integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams

- Perform critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking

- Identify schedule risks , evaluate sequencing, and recommend mitigation strategies

- Produce earned value metrics, KPIs, and cash flow reports for project controls and executives

- Support look-ahead planning, short-interval schedules, and continuous improvement

- Maintain compliant schedule documentation per contract and company standards

What You'll Bring

- 5+ years of scheduling experience supporting utility transmission lines (T-Line) and substations – required

- Advanced Primavera P6 expertise , including cost- and resource-loaded schedule development

- Experience with Linear Scheduling, large-scale sitework, and long-lead equipment planning for utility projects

- Familiarity with TILOS, Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk, or similar schedule analysis tools

- Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams

- Strong communication and influencing skills , coordinating across multiple departments

- Highly organized and self-motivated , able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
