What You'll Do

As a Senior Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring exceptional patient care while supporting the daily clinical operations of the practice.

Patient Care & Clinical Excellence

- Assist physicians and providers with orthopedic patient care

- Perform advanced casting, splinting, bracing, and DME application

- Manage technician appointments and patient follow-up needs

- Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EMR

- Serve as a trusted clinical resource for patients, providers, and staff

Leadership & Team Support

- Mentor and support Medical Assistants and clinical team members

- Assist with onboarding and training initiatives

- Promote best practices and clinical workflow efficiency

- Collaborate with clinic leadership to improve processes and enhance patient experience

Operations & Organization

- Manage clinic inventory and maintain appropriate supply levels

- Oversee medication and sample inventory

- Coordinate DME authorizations and insurance benefit verification

- Maintain OSHA standards and clinic compliance requirements

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of orthopedic, casting, splinting, or DME experience

- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced clinical environment

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

- Experience working with EMR systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Medical Assistant Certification and/or Orthopedic Technician Certification

- Experience with inventory management and supply ordering

- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance

- Experience mentoring or training team members
