About this role
Job Description
Are you passionate about transforming the retail supply chain landscape? Since 1901, Nordstrom has been committed to providing customers with the best possible service and experience in fashion, and surpassing customer expectations fuels our growth and innovation as we strive to be the best fashion retailer in a digitally connected world. Nordstrom has an opportunity available for a highly motivated, customer obsessed, and results-oriented Senior Program Manager to be a part of the transformational Nordstrom Supply Chain Program Management team , which drives the program management that helps cross-functional teams unlock capabilities and deliver value across Supply Chain and JWN.
Nordstrom's sort center network is a key part of our Supply Chain operations. Operated in partnership with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, the network supports the flow of inventory to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores. In this role, you will drive operational excellence across the network, own program governance and performance, and help shape how the network evolves.
This role is focused on:
- Capability Roadmap Execution: Leading delivery of the sort center capability roadmap, driving current-state programs from planning through launch and ensuring new capabilities are adopted and sustained across the network. Drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption across the sort center network.
- Next-State Launch Readiness: Partnering with leadership to prepare for the network's next phase, including readiness planning, launch execution, and stabilization to steady state
- External Vendor Management: Supporting on-site roles with day-to-day and strategic relationships with 3PL partners, including performance management, SLA and KPI accountability, business reviews, and scope alignment
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrating delivery across DC Operations, Transportation, Inventory, Stores, Finance, Sourcing, and Technology in support of key priorities of Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack
- Strategic Alignment: Translating Supply Chain Operations (SCO) goals into clear, prioritized execution plans for the sort center network
This role is multifaceted, demanding the ability to shift seamlessly from strategic planning to tactical execution . You'll build program roadmaps that translate goals into clear, prioritized plans, then lead the execution that delivers them, from launch readiness and go/no-go decisions to operational escalations. Collaboration is at the heart of this position, requiring effective partnership across levels and teams to bring Nordstrom closer to the customer. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to deliver results across multiple VP-led organizations and external partners are essential for success in this role.

Partner with analytics and on-site teams to turn data into clear insights that support business reviews, SLA attainment, and performance decisions. Success: leadership and on-site teams have timely, trusted visibility into network performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with on-site Nordstrom and 3PL teams to support stabilization, continuous improvement, and ongoing site enhancements, providing cross-functional coordination for escalations as needed. Success: sites operate at steady state, partners consistently meet or exceed SLAs, and network performance improves measurably year over year.
- Stakeholder Communication: Deliver audience-tiered updates, from detailed working-team communication to concise leadership summaries on progress, risks, and performance. Success: leadership has timely, trusted visibility into network health. \
