About the Team
The Materials team at ZF Santa Rosa manages and continuously improves the flow of materials from receiving through shipping. The team works across supplier and production planning, warehousing, material supply, customer service, and packaging. It collaborates with multiple internal functions to design standardized processes, implement improvements, and support operational excellence. A key focus is preparing processes and employees for the successful implementation of SAP.
What you can look forward to as Supply Chain Excellence System:
- Define strategies and resources for the end-to-end material flow, from receiving through shipping.
- Design, standardize, and document processes for materials, planning, warehousing, material supply, customer service, and packaging.
- Coordinate the implementation of process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare operational processes and employees for the implementation of SAP.
- Develop a forward-looking vision for materials management and supply chain excellence.
- Collaborate with supplier planning, production planning, logistics, customer service, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support compliance with applicable quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, customs, and corporate standards, including IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, C-TPAT, and OEA.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.
Your Profile as Supply Chain Excellence System:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of material flow and supply chain processes.
- Experience in process design, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of planning, warehousing, material supply, customer service, and packaging processes.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness and availability to travel.
