As we prepare for our next stage of growth and clinical advancement, Celea is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Medical Officer and executive team. Reporting to the CMO, this role will serve as a strategic partner to the CMO, helping drive executive priorities, strengthen cross-functional coordination, and ensure the Development organization operates effectively and efficiently while also personally managing complex calendars, meetings, communications, travel, and other day-to-day executive and administrative responsibilities .
In the near term, the focus will be sup porting the CMO and Development organization through Phase 3 clinical advancement, including coordination of key meetings, milestones, leadership activities, and cross-functional priorities . Over time, this person will help build scalable processes and operating rhythms that support a growing organization, anticipate the evolving needs of the CMO and executive team, and enable Celea to operate effectively as it advances toward commercialization , and will be instrumental in guiding Celea through its next chapter. This position is based in Boston and is in-person four days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling for Executive Team: outside meetings, team meetings, potential investor meetings, and 1x1 meetings.
- Organizing all on-going meetings being scheduled, while following up when needed
- Maintaining calendar of CMO and other executives
- Travel coordination: researching travel options (US and international), booking travel, itinerary updates/changes, expense reports, coordinating travel visas.
- Build and continuously improve organization and administrative processing — including thoughtful use of AI and automation — so the function scales with the company.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 3-5 years supporting C-Level executive.
- Experience in start-up environment strongly preferred; health and life science experience is also preferred.
- Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities and anticipate needs.
- Must have a positive “can do” attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment as well as work well independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint along with experience setting up systems and databases.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including attention to detail.
- Ability to work in the office 4 days a week.

Compensation
Transparency is one of our values, and that includes how we pay. The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000 – $120,000 , plus bonus and equity. Where an offer lands within the range reflects the candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity — and we welcome open conversations about compensation from the first call, so there are no surprises at the offer stage.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonus and equity compensation.
Base Pay Information $90,000 — $120,000 USD
