How you'll make an impact:

As a Press Supervisor , youll be based in-person at our Renton, WA facility and report to the General Manager . In this role, youll supervise and coordinate the day-to-day work of pressroom team members who set up and operate machines, helping the team work safely, meet quality standards, and keep production moving efficiently.

What youll do:

- Supervise and coordinate daily pressroom and sheeting activities, including machine setup, operation, workflow, and shift priorities.

- Prepare work schedules, assign work, and help balance resources to meet production needs.

- Ensure machine function, product output, and department performance are in line with specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

- Monitor production records, review daily results, and share findings, updates, and concerns with management.

- Coach team members by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and helping remove roadblocks during the shift.

- Support training for machine operators and help team members build the skills needed to perform their work safely and consistently.

- Help ensure team members follow documented policies, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

- Contribute ideas to improve day-to-day processes, workflow, safety, quality, and production efficiency.

- Partner with scheduling, maintenance, quality, prepress, and plant leadership to keep work moving and resolve routine production issues.

What it takes to succeed:

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- 3+ years of experience in pressroom, printing, packaging, production, or a related manufacturing environment as an individual contributor.

- Experience providing team leadership, guidance, training support, or day-to-day direction to others in a production environment.

- Thorough working knowledge of the functional area being supervised, including machine operation, workflow, safety, quality, and production expectations.

- Ability to prepare schedules, delegate work, monitor production information, and communicate updates clearly.

- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and production-related systems to communicate, track information, and review performance.

- Strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Requirements

We value diverse experiences and perspectives—they help us innovate every day. While these qualifications are preferred, theyre not required:

- Prior supervisory or people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience with lithographic or offset printing, inks and coatings, folding cartons, or single-face laminate standards and practices.

- Experience supporting production schedules, workflow coordination, machine operator training, or production reporting.

- Experience working with scheduling, maintenance, quality, prepress, or operations partners to solve day-to-day production challenges.
