About this role
Sanabil Studio is a venture builder that blends industry expertise, technology, and startup know-how to turn bold ideas into real businesses. We take concepts from zero to launch, and when a venture proves its potential, we back it with seed funding and hands-on support to help it scale.
At Renti, we believe tenants shouldn't have to pay a full year of rent upfront to secure a home or workspace. We're building a platform that lets residential and commercial tenants spread their rent into manageable payments, while landlords are guaranteed to be paid in full, and on time.
We are looking for a Co-Founder & CxO to drive the commercial strategy, regulatory navigation, funding, and business development that gets Renti live in the market and scaling across both residential and commercial real estate. You will work alongside the CTO, owning everything outside of product and technology: real estate relationships, financing structures, regulatory positioning, and the partnerships that drive distribution.
THE ROLE : What you'll own here.
- Set and drive the overall commercial strategy and business plan for the venture, across both residential and commercial segments.
- Maintain and expand Renti's licensing and regulatory standing in Saudi Arabia as the venture scales into new segments and products.
- Build and lead business development, securing distribution partnerships with landlords, real estate platforms, employers, and HR SaaS providers.
- Leverage an existing network of real estate developers, brokers, and agents, spanning residential and commercial, to drive early adoption and deal flow.
- Structure and negotiate financing partnerships, drawing on an understanding of both business and retail (consumer) financing.
- Own fundraising for the venture and represent it to investors, partners, and regulators.
- Build out the commercial, operations, and compliance functions as the venture scales.
- Work closely with the CTO on product priorities, ensuring the platform reflects real market and regulatory realities.
THE PROFILE: You're probably a fit if…
- You have a track record as a commercially strong operator in real estate, proptech, or an adjacent business development role.
- You have demonstrated ability to navigate real estate regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- You bring a strong existing network of real estate brokers and agents that can be activated for the venture.
- You have a solid understanding of financing, ideally with exposure to both business/SME (commercial) and retail (consumer) financing structures.
- You have experience negotiating and closing partnerships, ideally in real estate, fintech, or financial services.
- You communicate clearly with landlords, brokers, regulators, and investors alike.
- You are currently based in or willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
Bonus: Existing relationships with regulators or licensing bodies relevant to real estate or consumer financing in Saudi Arabia.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: You're not building from zero, you're built to move fast.
- Within the first year: have signed and activated Renti's first cohort of large-scale distribution partners, with real disbursement volume flowing.
- Within the first year: have Renti recognized as the credible challenger to main incumbents, with a fast-growing base of transacting landlords and tenants.
- Within the first year: be well advanced in securing debt financing to fund Renti's disbursement book with manageable and low NPLs.
- Within the first year: have built out the commercial, operations, and compliance functions the venture needs as it scales beyond the founding team.
- Be recognized by the studio and the CTO as a founder who converts a validated, licensed, funded thesis into real market share.
