The Category Analyst provides category insights and leverages data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize assortment and improve sales performance. This role partners closely with Sales and cross‑functional teams to analyze category and consumer trends.

Responsibilities :

Category & Shopper Insights

- Analyze category performance using syndicated, panel, and retailer-specific datasets (e.g., NielsenIQ, Scintilla, retailer point-of-sale).
- Identify consumer trends, market shifts, competitive performance, and whitespace opportunities.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on assortment, pricing effectiveness, promotional impact, and shelf productivity.

Prepare Line Review Materials

- Assist the National Account Manager in creating line review presentations, with analysis and consumer insights while collaborating with HQ Business Units and the CPFR team.

Post-Modular Reset Analysis

- Perform post-analysis on modular resets to determine brand share impact and identify improvement opportunities.

Monitor Competitive Activity

- Track and evaluate competitive activity for assigned brands and provide monthly Beats report updates.

Experience, Skills, Education:

- Bachelor's Degree required
- A Minimum of 4 years of experience in consumer products, preferably in food
- Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Scintilla required
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload as customer and internal demands shift; goal and deadline oriented
- Persistence and attention to detail

- Strong analytical capability with an ability to translate data into insights and insights into action
