Senior Technical Product Manager – Integration Platform
Imagine a platform that silently and compromises-free powers global research and development of new medicines. Every single second saved when transferring data between laboratories in Europe, the USA, and India can mean a faster path for a new medicine to reach a patient. Right now, we are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead our integration team and give this critical platform a clear direction. Your mission will not just be keeping systems up and running, but completely transforming the way we connect scientific data and applications. Together with the Technical Lead, you will lead a talented, multidisciplinary team of engineers, building a modern architecture using technologies such as Mulesoft, Kong, Apache Kafka and AWS . You will be the crucial bridge between tech experts and the business. A dynamic role awaits you, involving daily contact with colleagues from all over the world and travel to visit teams in the USA and India about once a year.
What you will do in this role :
- Drive the direction and instill your vision into the long-term roadmap of the integration platform connecting scientific systems globally.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a global team of engineers, plan their capacity, and foster an environment where people enjoy pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
- Design and promote modern integration approaches (synchronous/asynchronous flows, APIs, event-driven architecture) hand in hand with our Technical Lead.
- Translate complex technical jargon into clear business language and vice versa – you will be the go-to person for developers and directors alike.
- Manage the regular release cycle (approx. once a month), monitor risks in a regulated environment, and keep the process on track using Jira.
- Travel approximately once a year to meet in person with colleagues in the USA and India to strengthen relationships and align global strategy.
What you should have :
- Product background : At least 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner focusing on enterprise solutions, or 4+ years of experience as integration engineer/architect/technical lead or similar looking to transition into a product role
- People leadership experience : At least 3 years of experience leading, developing, and motivating technical specialists in an international team.
- Integration and technology overview : Familiarity with topics such as APIs, synchronous/asynchronous flows, event based integrations and awareness of technologies like Mulesoft, Kafka, Kong and cloud services as AWS.
- English and communication : Ability to present plans, negotiate priorities, and collaborate in English with colleagues in the USA, Europe, and India.
