Position Summary
The Clear Creek Group is seeking a versatile and people-focused Human Resources and Office Manager to serve as a central resource for our growing team in Jackson, WY.
This role combines strategic HR support with hands-on operational management, requiring someone who thrives on building strong workplace relationships while ensuring organizational efficiency. You'll be the go-to resource for employees and managers, providing guidance across benefits, payroll, employee relations, performance management, workplace policies, and company culture.
As a trusted partner to leadership, you'll help strengthen HR practices, support employees throughout their lifecycle with the company, and ensure the day-to-day office environment runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration
- Manage day-to-day human resources administration and employee relations, serving as a primary resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll-related questions, performance matters, and general employment concerns.
- Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain HR policies, procedures, best practices, and the employee handbook, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local employment laws and evolving organizational needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment law, HR trends, and regulatory changes while coordinating required employment notices, documentation, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, leave programs, and other compliance requirements.
- Optimize and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and ensure accurate, complete, and confidential employee records and documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Support managers with employee performance matters, including coaching, documentation, corrective action, and other employee relations needs.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics and identify opportunities to strengthen HR processes and support organizational decision-making.
Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, recruiting platforms, candidate communication, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letters, and pre-employment requirements in partnership with hiring managers.
- Maintain an organized, consistent, and compliant hiring process and coordinate employee transfers, promotions, status changes, and other employment changes.
- Coordinate and administer onboarding and new-hire orientation, ensuring employees receive appropriate systems access, equipment, benefits information, policies, and resources.
- Manage employee separations and offboarding, including benefits transitions, final payroll coordination, company property and system access, required documentation, and exit interviews.
Performance Management & Employee Experience
- Coordinate the company's performance review process and support managers in establishing expectations, providing feedback, addressing performance concerns, and maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Develop and support employee recognition, engagement, and culture initiatives that promote connection, communication, and a positive workplace environment.
- Coordinate employee events, celebrations, and company-wide activities in partnership with leadership.
- Serve as an approachable resource for employees, identify opportunities to improve the employee experience, and make recommendations to leadership.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Manage full-cycle payroll, reviewing new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, PTO, deductions, and other adjustments for accuracy and timely processing.
- Coordinate with payroll providers and Finance to maintain appropriate payroll controls, documentation, records, and reporting and resolve payroll issues as needed.
- Administer employee benefits, retirement plans, and insurance offerings while serving as the primary liaison with benefit providers, insurance carriers, retirement plan providers, and other vendors.
- Support employees with benefits enrollment, eligibility, changes, and questions, including new-hire enrollment and employee status changes.
- Manage annual open enrollment and support benefits reviews, renewals, reconciliations, employee communications, and evaluation of benefit offerings.
- Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records and partner with Finance on headcount, benefits, payroll, and other employee-related reporting.
Office Operations & Facilities Management
- Manage day-to-day office operations, policies, workplace standards, supplies, storage, equipment, housekeeping, and general maintenance to maintain an efficient, organized, professional, and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate routine facility inspections, maintenance, repairs, safety requirements, and vendor services, including building systems, cleaning, kitchen equipment, and fire suppression.
- Maintain relationships with office, building, maintenance, cleaning, and other facility-related vendors and ensure service needs are addressed promptly.
- Coordinate office access, keys, badges, workplace safety needs, exterior property appearance, and other facility-related employee requirements.
- Coordinate seasonal décor, office events, employee functions, hospitality initiatives, and other facility projects as needed.
Technology, Reporting & Administrative Support
- Serve as the primary liaison with technology service providers and coordinate employee computers, phones, equipment, system access, routine technical support, and the company cellular phone program.
- Coordinate company equipment and system access throughout employee onboarding, transitions, and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain accurate HR, payroll, benefits, headcount, turnover, PTO, employee, and organizational records and reports to support management decision-making.
- Partner with Finance on payroll, benefits, employee-related expenses, annual planning, budgeting, benefits analysis, compensation reviews, and other shared administrative responsibilities.
- Provide administrative support to remote Finance team members and other departments and assist with cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR, payroll, benefits, office, and administrative processes while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and security of employee and company information.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in human resources administration, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and office management.
- Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), payroll software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business applications.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive employee, payroll, compensation, and benefits information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Professional Human Resources certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred, but not required.
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

Annual Salary
$75,000 - $100,000
