About this role

About Myant:

Myant is building the technologies that connect people, machines and intelligence through advanced textile computing, materials science, AI and connected health technologies.

Within the Myant ecosystem, Myant Health is focused on transforming healthcare through the Internet of Humans: connecting people, AI and machines through intelligent textile-based interfaces and continuous health measurement. Our SKIIN™ technology transforms everyday clothing into a sophisticated health interface capable of capturing meaningful, clinical-grade health information, while HumanOS provides the platform for bringing together data from textile sensors, medical devices, wearables and other connected technologies to create a more continuous view of human health.

Myant Health is currently focused on objective measurement and accessible diagnostic solutions across areas including cardiovascular health, sleep, hypertension, diabetes and musculoskeletal health. Our work includes solutions such as 14-day cardiac monitoring, home sleep apnea testing and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, with a broader vision of creating continuous diagnostic and, ultimately, therapeutic interfaces that can become part of everyday life.

The Opportunity:

Myant is at a pivotal stage of growth as it advances its mission to redefine healthcare through textile-based sensing, continuous health monitoring and connected healthcare solutions.

We are building an employer health offering that gives employees access to proactive health screening and ongoing health programs through their workplace, funded by employers or employee benefits plans. The program combines Myant’s healthcare technology with an employer-focused model designed to help organizations better understand and support the health of their workforce.

We are looking for an Account Executive, Employer Health Benefits to build and grow this business across the Canadian market. This is a true enterprise sales role. You will own the commercial relationship from prospecting and discovery through business case development, negotiation, contract execution and activation, while also developing the broker and benefits consultant channel that can bring Myant into employer renewals and health strategy discussions.

The successful candidate understands how Canadian employee benefits are bought and has the credibility to work with HR, Total Rewards, Benefits, Occupational Health, Finance, brokers, consultants and other senior stakeholders. You will carry a commercial target measured not simply by contracts signed, but by signed and activated employee lives.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Sales & Business Development

- Build, manage and close a pipeline of mid-size and large Canadian employers, taking opportunities from initial prospecting through signed agreement and employee activation.
- Develop account strategies based on employer needs, workforce demographics, health priorities and existing benefits infrastructure.
- Lead discovery conversations with HR, Total Rewards, Benefits, Occupational Health and Finance leaders.
- Understand the client's current benefits environment, including benefits spend and trends, disability and WSIB claims, wellness programs, virtual care and other employee health solutions.
- Develop compelling business cases using the client's own workforce and benefits data.
- Design and propose pilots that establish clear objectives, measurement criteria and success metrics.
- Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement processes and extended decision timelines.
- Negotiate commercial terms and move opportunities through to contract execution.

Broker & Benefits Consultant Channel

- Build strong relationships with employee benefits brokers and consultants across Canada.
- Develop relationships with firms such as Aon, Mercer, Gallagher, HUB International and People Corporation and their relevant advisors.
- Position Myant as a solution that advisors can introduce during client renewals, wellness reviews and broader benefits strategy discussions.
- Understand the advisor's role in the buying process and provide the information, evidence and commercial rationale required to bring Myant forward to their clients.
- Identify opportunities to develop repeatable channel relationships that generate qualified employer opportunities.

Benefits Ecosystem & Partnerships

- Coordinate with insurance carriers, benefits platforms, TPAs and other ecosystem partners where Myant programs are incorporated into a benefits plan or health spending account.
- Understand how employer health programs fit within the broader Canadian group benefits environment.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution through strategic benefits partnerships and channels.

Client Trust, Privacy & Adoption

- Establish credibility with HR leaders and other stakeholders around health data, consent, privacy and employee participation.
- Address questions around employee-owned data, voluntary participation and employer reporting early in the sales process.
- Work effectively in environments where unions, works councils or employee representatives are involved.
- Ensure that commercial commitments are grounded in evidence and that client expectations are accurately represented throughout the sales cycle.

Account Transition & Activation

- Partner closely with Partner Success and internal teams to ensure signed accounts transition with a clear launch and activation plan.
- Remain engaged through implementation and employee activation to help ensure contracted employee lives actually enrol.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing employer accounts as adoption develops.

Sales Operations & Forecasting

- Maintain accurate and current opportunity data in HubSpot.
- Manage pipeline activity, next steps, probability and forecast discipline.
- Provide regular visibility into pipeline development, deal progression, risks and expected employee-life activation.
- Represent Myant at broker events, HR and benefits conferences, industry associations and relevant client-facing events.

First-Year Priorities

During the first year, success in this role will be demonstrated through the ability to:

- Build a qualified pipeline of Canadian employer opportunities.
- Establish and deepen relationships with key benefits brokers and consultants.
- Convert qualified opportunities into signed employer agreements.
- Drive those agreements through to employee activation and enrolled lives.
- Establish a repeatable sales approach for employer health benefits.
- Develop a scalable broker/channel strategy that generates ongoing opportunities.
- Build strong market credibility for Myant's employer health offering.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and reliable forecasting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a commercially driven enterprise salesperson who understands that selling employer health solutions requires more than traditional prospecting.

You know how the Canadian group benefits market works, understand the relationship between employers, advisors, carriers and benefits platforms, and can navigate a complex buying process involving multiple decision makers.

You are equally comfortable opening a new relationship, presenting to a senior HR or Total Rewards leader, working with a benefits consultant, developing a data-driven business case and staying involved until employees are actually activated.

You bring:

- A strong hunter mentality combined with consultative enterprise selling skills.
- Credibility with senior HR, Benefits and Total Rewards stakeholders.
- Existing relationships within the Canadian benefits broker/consultant ecosystem.
- The ability to sell a relatively new and innovative solution where education and business-case development are an important part of the sales process.
- Strong commercial judgment and discipline around what the evidence supports.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where the sales process continues to evolve.
- A high level of ownership and accountability for pipeline, revenue and activation outcomes.

Nice to Have

- LLQP / Life Licence or a group benefits designation such as GBA or CEBS.
- Experience working for or with a benefits carrier, TPA or benefits platform.
- Experience selling into manufacturing or unionized workplaces.
- Experience with employee health, digital health, wellness or healthcare technology.
