The Purpose:

This person is responsible for day-to-day production of digital, direct, and vinyl graphics, according to assigned projects. The individual in this position is responsible for graphic teams and for producing and coordinating any required graphics per assigned projects.

The Job:

- Manage and supervise employees in the Graphic Production/ Design Department; train, mentor, assess/ assign workload, and evaluate performance

- Interfacing with graphic project management (GPMs), project and account management, brand designers, warehouse, shop, and CAD.

- Graphics Production Manager will coordinate with the team to execute assigned projects to ensure successful completion in a timely manner

- Production oversight from start to finish of a variety of signage and design types

- Review all incoming projects and assign jobs. Discuss with assignees and understand scope of work required to complete any Graphics projects.

- Develop procedures and set standards for a fast-paced environment

- Maintain equipment and tools within the department

- Research new technologies in relation to department

- Participate in departmental production and management meetings

- Participate in Site-Surveys.

- Review & understand CAD drawings, ensure accuracy of drawing format and design

- Project estimation and budgeting

- Material/Substrate Procurement

- Outsourcing as needed

The Person:

- Broad knowledge of Graphic production, pricing and application including, but not limited to; die-cut vinyl, dye sublimation, tension fabric, standard uv/solvent/latex printing on various medias with application to various substrates

- Knowledge of routers, laser cutters, digital flatbed cutters, and other substrate cutting and forming

- Advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, all Adobe Creative Suite products, and printer RIP programs

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- 3 or more years in similar role, Exhibit industry experience is preferred

- This position is technical in nature and requires knowledge of industry fabrication methods, carpentry, metal work, paint production, tension fabric, and other techniques.

- Travel is occasionally required and will be evaluated in regard to specific production projects

- Must hard working and be willing to work overtime, and weekends as needed

- Exceptional organization, leadership, problem solving and multitasking skills

- Willing to work occasionally with extremely short deadlines.
