Location: Cobourg or Lindsay Ontario (On-site – 5 days per week)
Salary: $51,200 – $76,800 per year
Experience Required: 3-5 years
About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a solid understanding of insurance? Our Agent Department is seeking a Personal Lines Client Service Representative (CSR) to support our clients. As a CSR, you will work closely with clients, Agents and underwriters to ensure policy accuracy, process transactions efficiently, and provide proactive client communication. Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional service to clients via phone, email, and in person
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy changes
- Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements in our Cognition+ system
- Prepare certificates of insurance, liability slips, pink slips, and proof of insurance documentation
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with company standards
- Build strong client relationships to support retention and cross-selling opportunities
- Participate in department meetings, training, and industry events
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in insurance (Property, Auto, Farm, or Commercial)
- College diploma or university degree
- General Insurance (Other Than Life) License or willing to acquire within 2 months of start date
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, adaptable, “can-do” attitude
Assets:
- CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation
- Experience with Mutual insurance systems
