The compensation for this position will be $87,000 - $107,000 annually. The exact compensation will vary by experience, education and location.
SUMMARY
The Analyst III – Indirect Procurement provides direct analytical and operational support to the global HR/IT/General Labor & Benefits categories within a center-led hybrid procurement framework. The position delivers the spend analytics, and supplier performance reporting that underpin category strategy development and execution. Acting as the analytical engine for the category management team, the role converts market data, ERP transactions, and supplier inputs into actionable insight.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Spend & Cost Analytics:
Maintain and enhance category spend baselines, savings pipelines, and procurement performance metrics across indirect spend categories; validate reported savings and cost avoidance initiatives using Finance-approved methodologies; and translate results into measurable P&L impact and value creation for business stakeholders.
Contract & Price Administration:
Administer and manage contract pricing, commercial terms, and negotiated savings commitments across indirect spend categories; maintain accurate contract, supplier, and pricing data within ERP and procurement systems; and resolve pricing, invoicing, and payment discrepancies in partnership with suppliers, Accounts Payable, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
Supplier Performance Reporting:
Produce supplier scorecards and KPI dashboards covering quality, delivery, competitiveness, and sustainability metrics; support quarterly business reviews with data preparation and trend analysis.
Reporting & Visualization:
Develop and maintain visual reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) that give category managers and senior leadership a clear view of spend, market outlook, savings delivery, and risk posture.
Cross-Functional Support:
Partner with Category Managers, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, support sourcing and contracting activities, and drive the effective implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide procurement strategies, supplier agreements, and governance standards across the organization.
Collaboration: Collaborate with Procurement COE team on analytics, eSourcing tools/ techniques.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering,
or a related highly analytical discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or financial/commodity analysis, preferably supporting direct materials categories.
• Demonstrated experience in spend analysis, cost modeling, and data-driven reporting in support of sourcing or category management decisions.
Working knowledge of commodity-driven pricing mechanisms (index-linked and formula-based contracting) and market fundamentals for resins, polymers, or packaging materials.
Preferred:
• Exposure to indirect procurement categories such as IT, Professional Services, Facilities, HR, Marketing, Finance, Telecommunications, and Transportation, with experience leveraging market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, spend analytics, and industry research tools to inform category strategies, support sourcing initiatives, and identify cost savings and value creation opportunities.
• Experience operating within a center-led hybrid procurement organization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (including pivot modeling and Power Query) and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to data accuracy and integrity.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement tools (e.g. Coupa, Ariba, Rosslyn, others).
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to build dashboards and executive-ready reporting.
• Experience with AI tools to leverage data and action plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex market and cost data into concise, decision-ready insights.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to adapt to changing situations, new information, and unexpected challenges.

APICS or ISM certification (e.g., CPIM, CPSM) is a plus.
