Job Duties:
- Greet all customers in a friendly manner.
- Receive and thoroughly verify incoming loads from Unfi and Vallarta Supermarkets Warehouse.
- Report and document all product shortages to Vallarta Warehouse and Unfi.
- Ad items should be placed on sales floor for Customer purchase and properly cross merchandised according to the Grocery display map.
- All shippers must be placed on sales floor immediately for Customer purchase.
- Contact vendors in order to place merchandise orders and request services on a weekly basis
- Collect merchandise (empty packages) and compile empty package report and send to corresponding personnel.
- Receive and place all Thaw and Serve Merchandise on the sales floor for Customer purchase
- Ensure all product is properly rotated and marked with corresponding shelf life.
- Liquor loads must be checked by individual unit and any broken bottles should be kept at store level to receive appropriate credit.
- Place all AD reserve orders in a timely manner to ensure that seasonal and regular products are available for Customer purchase.
- Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed
- And all other assigned job duties.
- Job Requirements:
Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies
Qualifications
Essential Job Duties:
- Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart
- Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
- Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)
- Place product onto shelves and position for sale
- Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales by either placing or cleaning product
- Keep work area clean
- Reaching above shoulder level (product on shelving/racks )
Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas
