Position: Supervised Visitation Coordinator
Pay: $15.00/hour
Location: Salt Lake City and Layton
Reports To: Clinical Director / Assigned Supervisor
Position Type: Part-Time
Position Summary
Touchstone Therapy Center is seeking a Supervised Visitation Coordinator to provide supervised visitation services to children and families involved with the child welfare and court systems. This position will work under appropriate supervision and training while gaining hands-on experience working with children, parents, and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervised visitation services in accordance with court orders, DCFS requirements, and Touchstone policies.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and families.
- Observe and document parent-child interactions objectively and accurately.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate concerns and relevant observations to the assigned supervisor.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and appropriate documentation.
- Assist with other family-support services as assigned and appropriate to the employees education and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Family Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Current BSW students may also be considered.
To be considered as a BSW Intern you must be currently enrolled in a BSW program or recently completed a BSW.
- Strong interest in working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Reliable, responsible, and professional.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
- Reliable transportation.
Schedule Requirements
Must have availability for evening and weekend appointments. Schedule will be based primarily on client visitation needs.
Supervision
All services will be performed under the supervision and direction of qualified Touchstone Therapy Center staff and within the intern's education, training, and applicable requirements.
