POSITION PURPOSE

The Parts Runner works under the supervision of the managers, performs parts pick up, parts ordering, inventory, organizing, shop clean up, assist in various shop duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront.

- Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures.

- Pick up parts and deliver to mechanics.

- Help clean and maintain the shop.

- May be required to travel to job sites to drop off parts or supplies.

- Operates various shop vehicles and equipment on a as need basis.

- Operates vacuum cleaner, power washer and various hand tools.

- Reads and follows simple to complicated instructions, on a daily basis.

- Can read maps and follow directions or use GPS.

- Ability to prioritize multiple parts pick ups

- Actively participate in job-site and safety meetings and all Company related training.

- Pays attention to detail and observe safety precautions at all times (in shop and during driving).

- Work closely with all shop employees to maintain a clean and safe work environment and keep tools, equipment and work area secured, organized and in good working condition.

QUALIFICATIONS

- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

- Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

- Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read and write English.
