At Traditions, we celebrate our Nations early history by making the most of our Farm to Table program. With this, we supply our restaurant with fresh, seasonal ingredients, many of which are harvested from the ninety acres of gardens in the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area. This practice is reminiscent of tavern kitchens, which depended on local farms and gardens to provide the heirloom fruits and vegetables included in traditional colonial fare. At Traditions, our Chefs continue the timeless custom of Farm to Table by sourcing local foods from family farmers, cheese makers, beekeepers and fishermen in our neighborhood.
