You will help set the tone for the employee experience through relationships, recognition, communication and thoughtful events. Working closely with our Chief People & Culture Officer (CPO), you will connect what employees are experiencing with our larger People & Culture strategy and help turn that insight into meaningful action that supports employee satisfaction and retention of top talent.

What you’ll do:

- Build relationships across teams and offices to understand employee experiences, successes and opportunities for support

- Identify employee stories and achievements, coordinate meaningful recognition and track anniversaries and important life events

- Bring employee feedback, recurring themes and ideas to the CPO to help inform priorities and connect employee needs with the broader People & Culture strategy

- Help develop and execute employee support and engagement programs, gather feedback and recommend improvements

- Plan and coordinate employee activities, parties and company events, including logistics, communication, supplies, budgets and follow-up across the entire organization, executing all details in Northern Utah offices

- Support HOALiving Gives initiatives through promotion, participation and event coordination

- Create employee communications, announcements, bulletin boards and presentation materials that keep people informed and highlight their contributions

- Manage project timelines and action items, maintain employee lists and directories and track program expenses

- Coordinate office decorating, event purchases and work-related errands, and provide administrative support for People & Culture projects

- Handle employee information with discretion, maintain appropriate documentation and follow through on commitments

What you bring:

- An associate degree, equivalent relevant work experience or at least two years of experience supporting people, coordinating programs or events or managing related projects

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening and the ability to connect with people across different roles and backgrounds

- Excellent attention to detail, organization and accuracy, with the ability to manage competing deadlines

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, and comfort learning new tools

- Basic knowledge of event and project budgeting

- Resourcefulness, sound judgment and a willingness to take initiative

- Integrity, confidentiality, respect, flexibility and a good sense of humor

HOA industry knowledge is helpful but not required. Relevant experience may come from employee engagement, human resources, hospitality, communications, administrative support or event coordination.
