ABOUT THE ROLE
To load trucks and containers in accordance with shipping instructions and maintain the warehouse in an orderly and organized fashion. This is a 2nd shift position.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Safely operate material handling equipment.
- Perform piece counts, labeling and visual quality of finished goods.
- Move product from the warehouse and load onto specified equipment (trucks/container).
- Complete required shipping paperwork.
- Enter shipping data into SAP.
- Unload, receive and warehouse deliveries of production materials (packaging and facer).
- Maintain the 5S posture of assigned area.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Safety conscious mindset.
- Basic computer skills.
- The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices.
- Ability to stand for extended period.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment as required.
- This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
