Job Description
This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
About the Role
As a Merchandise Presentation Manager, you will lead the execution and continuous improvement of merchandise presentation strategies that bring Kohl’s brand and merchandising priorities to life across stores. You will drive alignment between enterprise strategy and in-store execution, elevate the customer experience, and lead and develop a high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead merchandise presentation & space planning strategies that bring Kohl’s product vision to life, driving sales productivity, brand consistency, and a compelling customer experience across all store formats.
- Lead the execution of category Space Planning strategies including floorplans and planograms across in house and third party teams.
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and execution of core merchandising guidelines including; presentation standards, customer choice/capacity standards and flow & adjacency guidelines.
- Analyze sales, customer, execution, and store feedback to identify opportunities to improve presentation effectiveness, productivity, and ease of execution.
- Build strong partnerships with Merchants, Marketing, Properties and other cross-functional teams to influence and deliver company merchandising strategies informed by business results, customer insights, and store feedback.
- Support line reviews, new product launches, department resets, mock store sets, and major floor-set transitions.
- Provide leadership support during peak periods and high-impact initiatives, helping teams navigate changing priorities and execution challenges.
- Serve as an expert for merchandise presentation standards, store communications, and execution processes, driving consistency and best practices across the team.
- Own the end-to-end merchandise presentation lifecycle, including seasonal timelines, cross-functional reviews & approvals, store communication, and post-execution follow-up.

What Skills You Have
Required
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
- Strong understanding of merchandise presentation, visual merchandising, and store execution in a retail environment.
- Ability to use sales, customer, and store-execution insights to make data-informed presentation decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and seasonal transitions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional partners and align teams on business priorities.
- Ability to translate enterprise merchandising and brand strategies into clear, executable store direction.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to stores or mock-store environments.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, or related field.
- Experience in large-format or multi-unit retail environments.
- Experience with space planning and visual merchandising tools, including Blue Yonder Space Planning and Floorplanning, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or SketchUp.
- Experience with store communication, visual planning tools, or presentation standards.
