Job Description
Are you a Transportation Management expert with strong SAP TM experience and a passion for driving global process excellence ? Join Sika as our Global Process Owner Transportation Management and take ownership of the end-to-end transportation process landscape, defining and governing global standards, processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. While the role is business- and process-focused rather than system-specific, you will play a pivotal role in Sika's ongoing global SAP TM transformation, ensuring solution design and rollout decisions remain aligned with global process standards and business requirements.
- Own and govern the global end-to-end Transportation Management process across all regions.
- Define and maintain global process standards, governance principles, policies, KPIs, and documentation.
- Drive process harmonization and standardization, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions while minimizing unnecessary local deviations.
- Act as the key business authority for transportation process design and process-related decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Order-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Finance, Master Data, and Reporting to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
- Lead continuous process improvement initiatives, maturity assessments, and performance optimization based on KPI insights.
- Govern transportation-related change requests, ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.
- Review and approve business requirements, solution designs, and process enhancements together with IT and project teams.
- Act as the Transportation Process Owner within the ongoing Global SAP TM program, ensuring solutions and rollouts align with Sika's global process framework.
- Provide SAP TM expertise during design reviews, testing, rollout preparation, key-user alignment, and business decision-making.
- Support communication, training, user adoption, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process ownership, process management, or continuous improvement within Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end transportation processes, including transportation planning, execution, carrier management, freight cost management, settlement, compliance, and performance management.
- Hands-on SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) experience is mandatory , with a strong understanding of TM processes, scenarios, and solution design.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into global process standards and scalable solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills in a global environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%)
