What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll partner with the Branch Manager to support the daily operation and performance of the branch. You’ll have an opportunity to:

- Build positive relationships with customers and dealership partners.
- Evaluate loan applications and make credit decisions within your delegated authority.
- Review loan and funding documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Communicate funding requirements and credit decisions professionally and promptly.
- Support account management and collection activities for delinquent accounts.
- Negotiate payment arrangements within company guidelines.
- Authorize repossessions when appropriate and within established requirements.
- Monitor payment arrangements and follow up on customer commitments.
- Help achieve branch goals related to account growth, delinquency control, and profitability.
- Coach and guide branch employees and help coordinate daily priorities.
- Partner with the Branch Manager to identify performance opportunities and implement action plans.
- Provide branch leadership when the Branch Manager is absent.
- Support administrative responsibilities such as processing payments, loan packages, and bank deposits when needed.

Qualifications include:

- 0–2 years of relevant auto-finance experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities.
- Ability to build professional relationships with customers, dealerships, and coworkers.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Ability to coach employees and provide leadership when the Branch Manager is away.
- Valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed .
