In This Role
In this role, you will support product marketing for a digital advertising platform, with an initial focus on advertiser diagnostics, reporting, planning, measurement, and insights. You will partner closely with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex advertising products and capabilities into clear customer value, incorporate customer and market insights into product strategy, and support go-to-market activities for new and evolving capabilities. You will contribute across product positioning, messaging, customer and competitive insights, product launches, enablement, and adoption while managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving product environment.
Responsibilities
Customer, Market & Competitive Insights
- Gather and synthesize advertiser, market, and competitive insights to identify customer needs, product opportunities, and potential adoption barriers.
- Partner with Product Management and customer-facing teams to incorporate advertiser feedback into product and go-to-market planning.
- Develop a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and relevant competitive offerings.
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop clear positioning, value propositions, messaging, and proof points for advertising products and capabilities.
- Translate technical product functionality into compelling advertiser benefits and use cases.
- Create customer-facing and internal narratives that simplify complex advertising concepts.
Go-to-Market & Product Launches
- Support go-to-market planning and execution for new products, features, pilots, and platform capabilities.
- Partner across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to support launch readiness and product adoption.
- Develop launch materials, presentations, FAQs, messaging frameworks, and other supporting assets.
Enablement & Cross-Functional Support
- Develop enablement assets, including pitch decks, product overviews, training materials, and sales resources.
- Support stakeholder education on product roadmaps, positioning, customer value, and key product changes.
- Collaborate across teams and adapt to evolving platform priorities and business needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product marketing and/or go-to-market strategy experience , including experience developing positioning, messaging, value propositions, GTM strategies, or product launch plans.
- 3+ years of digital advertising or ad tech experience , with an understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, advertiser needs, products, and competitive landscape.
- 3+ years of customer and market insights experience , including synthesizing customer feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, or performance signals into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience with both inbound and outbound product marketing . This is a key eligibility requirement for the role.
- Ability to translate complex technical product capabilities into clear customer-facing value propositions and messaging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating customer-facing, internal, sales, or enablement materials.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Product marketing, product management, strategy, or related experience within digital advertising, ad tech, marketing technology, SaaS, or platform products .
- Familiarity with advertiser workflows and concepts such as campaign performance, reporting, analytics, measurement, diagnostics, optimization, and media planning .
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing .
- Demonstrated ability to develop polished presentations, messaging frameworks, product narratives, and sales-enablement materials.
- Experience supporting product launches, pilots, new features, or platform capabilities.
- Experience with advertiser-facing diagnostics, reporting, planning, measurement, or insights products .
- Ability to quickly ramp on technical products and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with a comparable large-scale digital advertising platform is strongly preferred.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $100,000- $115,000 USD annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
