Job Description
Job Summary
Rockwell Automation is looking for a Cloud & AI FinOps Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, analytics, and investment governance across technology and projects. While this position interfaces with cloud and AI-related investments, the primary focus is on financial management, business partnership, and data-driven decision-making.
You will partner with Finance, IT, business leaders, and operational partners to provide financial insights, support forecasting processes, evaluate investment opportunities, and lead financial accountability across the organization. You combine FP&A experience, to translate financial data into relevant recommendations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders, Finance, and IT partners to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
- Perform financial analysis and variance reporting important causes, risks, opportunities, and trends.
- Promote financial models that support strategic decision-making and investment planning.
- Monitor spending patterns across departments and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership reviews.
- Support month-end close activities, accruals, forecasting cycles, and executive reporting requirements.
- Create dashboards solutions using Power BI and other analytics tools to improve our visibility.
- Partner with teams to evaluate business cases, investment proposals, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Analyze operational and financial data to create applicable insights.
- Support governance processes by developing metrics standards that improve financial accountability.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and refine financial analysis processes.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent English proficiency and fluency to communicate with people at all levels.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience supporting technology, software, digital transformation, or IT organizations.
- Understanding of cost management, investment governance, or financial controls.
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or business finance.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) (can maintain complex spreadsheets), or similar analytics tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with cloud computing costs, technology spend management, or FinOps concepts.
- Experience with ERP, financial reporting platforms.
- Master of Business Administration, finance certification, or advanced financial training.
