Job Description

The Manager, Business Systems will lead the Warehousing business systems capability and manage a team responsible for translating global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Quality, and Logistics needs into reliable, compliant, and scalable technology solutions. The role will own the capability roadmap and lifecycle for warehouse management solutions, including SAP Warehouse Management, SAP Extended Warehouse Management, inventory management, RF/mobile processes, warehouse automation, and integrations with manufacturing, transportation, serialization, and third-party logistics platforms. This role will ensure technology investments improve inventory accuracy, product flow, operational resilience, user experience, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures, including security, privacy, data integrity, validation, and regulated-system controls where applicable. 
- Capability strategy and roadmap: Define and maintain the multi-year warehousing technology roadmap aligned with Supply Chain and enterprise technology strategies; assess site archetypes, process complexity, automation needs, total cost of ownership, and modernization priorities. 
- Business partnership: Serve as the primary technology partner for Warehousing capabilities. Translate operational needs into process, data, integration, and system requirements across manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and third-party logistics operations. 
- Solution ownership: Govern the lifecycle of SAP WM, SAP EWM, inventory management, RF/mobile solutions, warehouse automation and material-flow integrations, and related reporting and analytics. Ensure solutions are standardized, scalable, supportable, and fit for purposes. 
- Delivery leadership: Lead cross-functional programs and product teams through discovery, design, configuration/development, testing, deployment, cutover, stabilization, and benefits realization using appropriate Agile and waterfall methods. 
- Operational excellence: Establish service performance expectations and oversee incidents, problems, change, release, capacity, continuity, and vendor management for business-critical warehousing solutions. Drive root-cause elimination and continuous improvement. 
- Data and integration: Promote accurate warehouse master and transactional data, end-to-end inventory visibility, and robust integration with SAP S/4HANA, MES, transportation, serialization/traceability, automation controls, analytics, and 3PL platforms. 
- Financial and portfolio management: Develop investment cases, manage budgets and forecasts, oversee project capital/RCE expenditures and operating expenses, monitor value realization, and identify opportunities for cost avoidance and simplification. 
- People leadership: Set expectations; coach, develop, evaluate, and retain employees; determine the appropriate mix of internal, external, onshore, and offshore skills; build succession and capability plans; and foster an accountable, inclusive, and innovative team culture. 
- Stakeholder and partner management: Build effective relationships with senior business leaders, site teams, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, vendors, and strategic service partners.

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or PhD with 3 years of relevant experience. Degree in information systems, engineering, computer science, supply chain, business, or a related discipline preferred. 
- Experience leading business systems, digital products, and technology capabilities in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing logistics, or supply chain execution. 
- Working knowledge of IT warehouse processes including receiving, put-away, replenishment, internal movements, picking, packing, shipping, physical inventory, returns, and exception management. 
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex, multi-site technology programs and managing solution lifecycle, operational support, vendors, budgets, risks, and benefits. 
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory or people-leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and employee development. 
- Ability to translate technical capabilities and operational data into clear business outcomes, investment recommendations, roadmaps, and executive-level communications. 
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills in a global, matrixed environment. 
- Ability to operate within broad goals and objectives and make strategic decisions that may affect multiple functions, sites, or business processes.

Preferred:

- Experience with enterprise warehouse management solutions. SAP WM, SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, RF/mobile solutions, automation, or material-flow systems, and 3PL integration experience are strongly preferred. 
- Experience in a regulated industry and familiarity with validated systems, data integrity, audit readiness, and change control are preferred.
