About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Echo Vascular Technologist to join our outpatient clinical team in Kingman, Arizona.
The Echo Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations to assist healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and vascular conditions. This role combines advanced imaging expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care to provide high-quality diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound examinations according to established clinical protocols
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and promote patient comfort and safety throughout each study
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images of cardiac and vascular structures
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and performance standards
- Analyze imaging studies and accurately document findings for provider review
- Record procedures, images, and results promptly and accurately within the EMR
- Maintain consistent image quality by following established quality-control protocols
- Recognize abnormal findings and ensure appropriate documentation and communication
- Maintain accurate patient and procedural records
- Stay current with advancements in echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and diagnostic imaging technology
- Follow all applicable patient safety, infection control, privacy, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Sonographer
- At least 10 months of clinical experience performing cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound examinations
- Proficiency in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound imaging
- State licensure and/or professional certification as required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot diagnostic ultrasound equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
