Looking for a full-time healthcare position with a consistent 8-hour day shift and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference?

Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medication Aide to join our correctional healthcare team.

A Certified Medication Aide is preferred, but certification is not required . We're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and ready to provide quality care in a structured healthcare environment.

🩺 What You'll Do

- Provide compassionate and professional patient care

- Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice and training

- Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare provider

- Assist with routine healthcare needs and patient services

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation

- Follow established medication administration and clinical procedures

- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team

- Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment

- Practice within your professional scope, training, and established clinical guidelines

Qualifications

📋 What You'll Need

For LPN Candidates:

- Current LPN license in the state of employment

- Current CPR certification

- Previous nursing experience preferred

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

For Medication Aide Candidates:

- Medication Aide certification is preferred but not required

- Previous medication administration or healthcare experience required

- Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain as required

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

- Ability to work effectively in a structured healthcare environment
