About this role

Job Summary
Lead, develop, and implement communications plans, pieces (feature articles, interviews, scripts, presentations etc.) and policies to ensure employees are informed, supported and inspired. Support enterprise-wide communications and platforms including our intranet The Source, the Medline Knowledge Management platform. Help identify and develop business cases/ requirements for new internal communications platforms, lead and manage internal communications campaigns and launches.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the daily implementation of internal communications plans and help make strategic recommendations and develop content that ensures superior delivery of communication programs and tactics within the organization.
- Measure, analyze, and report out on content performance and trends to guide data-driven decision making.
- Write original content for the company intranet’s news section that builds employee engagement, helps teams understand the company’s goals and vision, highlights key successes and showcases valued behavior and leadership at Medline.
- Provide daily management of corporate Intranet and division support through content loading, creation, formatting, testing and troubleshooting
- Identify new opportunities, tools and platforms to drive Medline's internal communications messaging to employees and sales force.
- Develop and disseminate timely and accurate information to Medline employees and sale teams, using print and electronic communications and regularly reports results.
- Produce and/or assist in the conceptualization, design and implementation of assigned communication materials including online or email newsletters, scripts, intranet postings.
- Supports senior sales leaders with internal video needs, including any talk points, scripting, partnering with multimedia team and more.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree.

Certification / Licensure:

- None required.

Work Experience:

- At least 7 years of experience in a communications-related field of work.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

- Experience and/or interest with Corporate intranets (SharePoint Office 365 preferred) & other digital communications tools
- Strong writing, proofing and editing skills required.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$92,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
