We are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to support key initiatives within Alarm.com’s Finance Transformation program, with a focus on business process improvement, change management, testing, adoption, and ERP transformation execution. This individual contributor role will help support modernization efforts across finance operations, with a primary focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC) transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with experience participating in finance transformation or ERP initiatives who enjoys cross functional collaboration, process improvement, and driving execution across business critical programs.

The Finance Transformation Manager will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Billing, Operations, and external implementation partners in a highly visible and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

- Drive and support Finance Transformation initiatives focused on ERP modernization, process improvement, and operational scalability

- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Billing, and Operations teams to analyze current state processes and help define future state workflows

- Coordinate change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, user readiness, training support, and adoption efforts across Finance and G&A teams

- Facilitate and participate in testing activities including business validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue tracking, and readiness assessments

- Help ensure finance process requirements are clearly documented, aligned with business objectives, and incorporated into implementation activities

- Collaborate with implementation partners and cross functional teams to support successful ERP transformation delivery

- Identify process gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities within finance workflows and help drive resolution plans

- Track and manage issues, dependencies, risks, and action items across ongoing transformation initiatives

- Help establish and reinforce operational standards, process consistency, governance practices, and support documentation across finance workflows

- Contribute to organizational readiness and transition activities related to new systems and processes

- Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in Finance Transformation, ERP initiatives, business process improvement, or related finance operations roles

- Experience participating in or supporting ERP or finance transformation projects in a business, operations, or systems capacity

- Familiarity with finance operational processes, particularly within Order-to-Cash (OTC), billing, invoicing, or related workflows

- Experience with business process documentation, testing coordination, or change management initiatives

- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive follow through across cross functional teams

- Ability to balance process rigor and operational discipline with practical business needs

- Highly detail oriented with the ability to operate effectively in accuracy critical environments

- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams

Domain Knowledge

- Familiarity with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives

- Understanding of finance business processes such as Order-to-Cash, billing, invoicing, collections, payments, or revenue operations

- Awareness of process governance, operational controls, and enterprise system implementation activities

- Ability to understand business workflows and translate operational needs into actionable process improvements

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting OTC transformation initiatives

- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or similar ERP platforms

- Experience working with external implementation partners or consulting teams

- Exposure to SaaS, subscription, or hardware related business models

- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools

- Experience developing process documentation, training materials, or operational workflows

- Certification or coursework related to change management, project management, Lean/Six Sigma, or related disciplines is a plus

The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience. This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role. The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
Base Salary Range $105,000 — $125,000 USD
