Reporting directly to the Chief HR Officer, the Vice President, Human Resources – Corporate Functions serves as a senior HR leader and strategic advisor to StandardAero’s executive leadership across our global Corporate Functions.

This role will shape and execute people strategies that enable business performance, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and long-term growth. Working closely with senior executives and HR leadership, the Vice President will influence enterprise priorities, lead complex organizational initiatives, and ensure our talent and organizational strategies are aligned with the evolving needs of the business.

This is an on-site role in Scottsdale, AZ.

What you’ll do:

- Serve as a strategic HR advisor and trusted partner to executive leaders across StandardAero’s Corporate Functions, translating business priorities into forward-looking people and organizational strategies.
- Partner with functional executives on organizational strategy, operating models, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and talent decisions that enable business performance and growth.
- Lead the development and execution of talent strategies to attract, develop, engage, and retain high-performing and critical talent.
- Drive executive talent and succession planning, including identification and development of future leaders and strategies to strengthen leadership pipelines.
- Advise executives on organizational design and transformation, including restructuring, role clarity, capability building, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead the people strategy for significant business and organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective change management, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
- Provide executive coaching and counsel to senior leaders, helping strengthen leadership capability, team effectiveness, and organizational performance.
- Use workforce insights, business data, and external market trends to identify organizational risks, opportunities, and emerging talent needs.
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Operations, and other HR teams, to deliver integrated solutions aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Provide leadership and guidance on complex employee relations, performance, organizational, and talent matters, balancing business needs, employee experience, risk, and compliance.
- Champion a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, continuous improvement, and leadership excellence.
- Contribute to broader enterprise HR strategy and priorities as a senior member of the HR leadership team.

Position Requirements:

- This position requires access to export-controlled information. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable U.S. export control laws. A U.S. Person includes a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), refugee, or asylee.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including significant experience supporting senior executives and leading complex organizations.
- Demonstrated experience operating as a strategic HR executive and influencing decisions at the executive leadership level.
- Proven success developing and executing enterprise-level talent, organizational effectiveness, workforce, and change strategies.
- Experience supporting complex corporate functions such as Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Engineering, Supply Chain, or other enterprise functions.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to business objectives and enterprise performance.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, executive talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and change management.
- Ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities within a fast-paced, global organization.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional influencing, coaching, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with a willingness to operate effectively in a lean, hands-on environment.
- Strong judgment and experience managing complex and sensitive employee, organizational, and leadership matters.
- Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience leveraging HR systems, workforce analytics, and data to inform business and talent decisions.
- Approximately 20% travel may be required domestically and/or internationally

Preferred Characteristics:

- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
- Experience within aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, industrial services, or another complex global organization.
- Experience supporting a publicly traded company or similarly complex enterprise environment.
- Experience leading or supporting significant organizational transformation, integration, or enterprise change.
