Are you passionate about aquatics, leadership, and making a meaningful impact? The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a motivated, mission-driven professional to join our team as a Service Delivery Coordinator - Aquatics at the Midlothian Family YMCA.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily aquatic operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and outstanding member and staff experiences
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure coverage while maintaining a standard 40-hour workweek
- Provide hands-on program delivery by lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons up to 35 hours per week
- Serve as a visible leader on deck, modeling YMCA standards and best practices
- Ensure all aquatic facilities, equipment, and program spaces-including pump room operations-are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Uphold all safety protocols and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision of aquatic staff, including lifeguards and swim instructors
- Contribute to in-service trainings and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain schedule flexibility, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of aquatics-related experience
- Current Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications preferred (must obtain and maintain required certifications)
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to organize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Proficiency with PC-based applications and scheduling tools
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and support multiple program areas

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $42,000 - $44,000
