Job Description
About the role
Public Storage is looking for a Corporate Communications Associate to join our communications team at our Frisco headquarters. This is a hands-on role for an early-career professional who wants experience shaping how a large company communicates with its employees. You'll help keep our day-to-day communications running smoothly while our team builds out new digital content, our LinkedIn presence, and artificial intelligence tools that make communications work smarter across the company.
What you'll do
- Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute email communications to employees across the company
- Support communications for our field and operations teams
- Help bring culture, recognition, and values campaigns to life
- Write and develop content for internal channels
- Keep communications projects organized and on schedule
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m., in person in Frisco, Texas.
- This role is 100% in office; remote or hybrid work is not available.
- Assignment dates: Immediate through May 31, 2027.

Qualifications
What we're looking for
- Degree in communications, journalism, or public relations
- 0-1 year of experience
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, with strong writing and proofreading skills
- Organized and comfortable managing several projects at once
- Clear, professional communicator who is comfortable working with people at all levels
- Trustworthiness and ability to keep information confidential
- Dependable, with consistent, on-time attendance in-office
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools (required)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe programs (desired)
- Curious about digital content and new tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
