About this role
Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a collaborative, service-minded D i rector of Information Technology to lead MIT operations and serve as its primary operational technology leader and trusted technical advisor!
Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness & Organizational Strategy, this role translates institutional priorities into practical technology plans while ensuring excellent service, responsible stewardship, and sound risk management.
WHAT YOU’LL LEAD
- Direct departmental operations, staff development, service delivery, budgets, vendors, continuity, and performance measures.
- Own the cybersecurity program, including strategy, controls, identity and access, vulnerability management, incident response, recovery, compliance, and executive assurance reporting.
- Develop technology roadmaps and advise leaders on architecture, lifecycle risk, sourcing, investments, data infrastructure, and governance.
- Oversee enterprise applications, cloud services, networks, endpoints, telecommunications, classroom technology, SIS, LMS, CRM, and integrations.
- Lead instructional technology and the technical infrastructure supporting media production, simulation, curriculum delivery, events, and digital content.
- Guide technology projects and change management through coordinated planning, communication, training, risk management, and transparent reporting.
WHAT YOU BRING
Education
- Master's degree in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, business administration, higher education administration, or a related field preferred. A bachelor's degree with substantial relevant leadership experience may be considered.
Experience
- Progressively responsible experience leading information technology functions, preferably in higher education, healthcare education, or another complex service environment. Demonstrated experience owning a cybersecurity program, along with enterprise systems, infrastructure, service operations, vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional technology projects.
Preferred
- Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent), IT service management, project management, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture.
