About this role :
The Insurance Manager will supervise the Insurance Team and oversee and manage the daily functions of the team in safeguarding insurance information for all new and existing loans and ensuring necessary insurance coverage is in place.

In this role you will :
- Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be.”
- Creates, reviews and revises procedures for the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s Insurance management program.
- Assist clients who have received communication from the Bank regarding their insurance coverage or lack of proof of insurance
- Utilize technology to ensure Hazard and Flood Insurance is monitored and processed correctly.
- Review and utilize internal and vendor reports to insurance accuracy and completeness of processing.
- Review the set-up of new hazard and flood loans escrows, were appropriate, are set up for each loan.
- Oversee the remittance of payments to all applicable insurance agencies on behalf of the clients
- Review force placed insurance payments and the processing of refunds, as necessary.
- Works with loan officers to ensure all requirements have been met, and coverage is sufficient and/or inform them of eminent force placement.
- Review the monthly PMI remittance and FP Hazard premiums and client refunds as appropriate
- Supervise and assist the Insurance team in maintaining accounts and providing clients/customers with outstanding customer service.
Must haves :
- Strong “People First” interest and ability.
- Knowledge of Federal and State banking regulations with focus on Hazard and Flood Insurance.
- Knowledge of lending and mortgage insurance.
- Strong management skills.
- Excellent follow up and analytical skills.
- Analytical skills to conduct evaluation of insurance requirements and documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with conflict resolution
- Strong motivational skills
- 3 -5 years of experience in Flood and Hazard Insurance processing and Regulations
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of CNOB products and services.
- Knowledge of or experience with Insurance vendors such as Miniter/Hub.

Salary Description
$95,000-$115,000
