Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of products and materials. Team Members assist with inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, product handling, and warehouse transactions while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

- Transfer boxes and product from pallet to pallet while maintaining product quality and inventory accuracy.
- Load, unload, stage, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using assigned material-handling equipment and approved warehouse procedures.
- Complete inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions using scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Verify product counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Load and unload trailers according to established procedures.
- Comply with all safety, food safety, quality assurance, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Must have a minimum of 12 months of continuous work experience with a single employer .
- Minimum 6 months of machine operator experience required.
- Basic math skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience using warehouse management systems and scanning equipment preferred.
- Minimum 1 Year Forklift Experience. High Lift Mass Truck, Forklift, Dockloader, and Pallet Jack experience preferred. Knowledge of loading 18 wheeler trucks/Class A trucks is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

- Must be willing and able to work in temperatures of 38°F or below for the duration of the shift.
- Must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be willing and able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.

Rehires: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
