We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average.

Job Summary

Provide academic support to high school students in Science, with a primary focus on Biology and Chemistry based on the Georgia curriculum.

Provide supplemental assignments, practice activities, and learning strategies to help students strengthen their understanding of scientific concepts and develop strong academic skills.

Provide remedial and enrichment support for students in high school Biology and Chemistry, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

Support students with laboratory concepts, scientific reasoning, problem-solving, data analysis, and preparation for tests, quizzes, and other assessments.

Provide advanced academic support and exam preparation for students enrolled in honors, advanced, AP, or college-preparatory Science courses.

Provide Physics tutoring and academic support as an additional subject area. Experience teaching or tutoring Physics is considered a bonus.

Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, academic goals, and areas for continued development.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for teachers or soon to be teachers who can meet the following criteria:

Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching or tutoring high school students.

Strong knowledge of high school Biology and Chemistry, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.

Experience teaching or tutoring high school Physics is considered a strong asset.

Experience working with honors, advanced, AP, or college-preparatory Science students is considered an asset.

Strong understanding of scientific reasoning, problem-solving, laboratory concepts, and academic preparation.

Committed to providing excellent customer service and a positive learning experience for students and families.

Enjoy working with students and families and have a genuine interest in supporting students' academic growth and success.

Great communication skills, with the ability to adapt instruction to individual student needs and learning styles.

Familiarity with the Georgia curriculum and high school academic expectations is considered an asset.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:

You hold a registration in good standing with the Georgia Department of Education.

You are qualified to teach in the United States.

You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a bachelor of education.

You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited United States or Canadian University or College.

Experience teaching or tutoring high school Biology and Chemistry is preferred, with experience in Physics considered a strong bonus.

This position will serve students in the Forsyth, Georgia area.
