Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000
Job Summary: The Regional Vice President of Hotel Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of hotels, ensuring strong financial performance, operational consistency, and alignment with company and brand standards. This role partners with ownership groups, executive leadership, and property teams to drive results, support growth, and deliver exceptional guest experiences across all assigned assets.
Essential Functions and Duties:
• Oversee operational performance for a portfolio of hotels, ensuring achievement of financial, service, and operational goals
• Lead and support General Managers and regional leaders, driving accountability, performance, and team development
• Partner with ownership groups and asset managers to review performance, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure asset value is maximized
• Monitor key performance metrics including RevPAR, NOI, guest satisfaction, labor efficiency, and market performance; implement action plans as needed
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, HR, and Commercial teams to drive topline revenue and operational effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, management agreements, and company policies across all assigned properties
• Support new hotel openings, transitions, renovations, conversions, and repositioning efforts within the portfolio
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost control, and enhanced guest experiences
• Participate in management presentations, owner meetings, and business development efforts to support portfolio growth
• Maintain strong relationships with brand partners, vendors, ownership groups, and key stakeholders
• Conduct regular property visits to assess operational performance, coach leadership teams, and drive accountability
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and service excellence across all hotels within the portfolio

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
• Demonstrated experience leading operations across multi property, full service hotel portfolios is required
• Independent hotel experience is preferred, but not required; full service hotel experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience, including multi property or regional oversight
• Proven success managing hotel portfolios and delivering strong financial and operational results
• Experience working with ownership groups, asset managers, management companies, and brand partners
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, labor management, and operational metrics
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop senior leaders and high performing teams
• Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills in complex operational environments
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Deep understanding of hotel operations including Rooms, Food and Beverage, Sales, Revenue Management, and guest service operations
• Ability to travel frequently and support multiple markets across the assigned portfolio
Work Environment:
• This is a full time leadership role with frequent travel required across the portfolio
• Work is performed in a combination of corporate offices, hotel environments, and travel settings
• Must be able to sit for extended periods, travel regularly, and maintain a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds may be required
