About this role

SAIC is seeking a Logistics and Property Management Specialist to provide high‑impact SETA support to a mission‑critical program at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, VA.

The Logistics and Property Management Specialist provides end‑to‑end logistics, property accountability, and infrastructure support within an NRO SETA environment. The role ensures disciplined management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFX), IT assets, and facility‑related property, maintaining compliance with NRO, Intelligence Community, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities to include:

- Oversee facility‑related assets, workspace allocations, and infrastructure requirements supporting mission operations and program offices. Maintain accurate inventories and coordinate lifecycle actions for all accountable property.
- Track, manage, and reconcile IT hardware and peripherals across multiple directorates. Support onboarding/offboarding workflows, device issuance, and compliance with security and configuration standards.
- Maintain full accountability of GFX, including receipt, tracking, assignment, storage, and documentation. Ensure all GFX actions comply with NRO property policies and audit requirements.
- Coordinate timely and compliant return of GFX during personnel transitions, contract changes, or lifecycle turnover. Validate condition, documentation, and chain‑of‑custody requirements.
- Manage non‑GFX mission equipment, specialized tools, and program‑unique assets. Support procurement requests, disposition actions, and inventory audits.

Required Education and Experience

- Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
- Experience supporting NRO, IC, or DoD logistics or property management functions.
- Strong understanding of federal property accountability, inventory control, and audit readiness.
- Familiarity with SETA environments, government acquisition processes, and multi‑directorate coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple property systems, databases, and tracking tools with precision.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; comfortable interfacing with government leads, security offices, and program managers.
