Introduction to the job

In this role, you work for the Product Lifecycle Management department (within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement organization) as part of a cross-departmental R&D team. This means you’ll be balancing a broad range of stakeholders both from within your cross-functional project team and from the supply chain management department. You’ll be supporting technology-driven development projects by finding creative supply chain solutions that not only meet your stakeholders needs but also help bring the supply chain management department to the next level.

Role and responsibilities

The Supply Chain Industrialization team plays a critical role in ensuring material availability, supply chain readiness, and successful product introductions across the product lifecycle. Through close collaboration with Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Customer Support, and Suppliers, the team enables timely execution of engineering changes, industrialization activities, and operational readiness. Specific responsibilities for this role include:

- Owning material availability and supply readiness for assigned Module Delivery Unit (MDU) scope and product configurations.
- Translating product plans, technical documentation readiness, and engineering decisions into executable supply chain actions.
- Creating and maintaining material readiness plans, demand-supply alignment plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring Technical Product Documentation (TPD) readiness and converting engineering milestones into material availability requirements.
- Identifying, managing, and escalating material shortages, supply constraints, and supplier readiness risks.
- Coordinating engineering and configuration change implementations while safeguarding impact on logistics, cost, quality, and business continuity.
- Drive stronger Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, and Sustainability (QLTCS) decision making.
- Supporting industrialization activities, including manufacturing readiness, operational lead time improvements, and supplier readiness milestones.
- Collaborating with suppliers, sourcing teams, and supplier account teams to improve supply chain readiness and execution.
- Creating visibility into material demand, supply risks, inventory strategies, and readiness status for stakeholders.
- Driving cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Customer Support, and Supply Chain organizations.
- Executing purchasing requisitions, monitoring delivery performance, and expediting critical materials to meet project milestones.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of supply chain and product lifecycle management processes.

Education and experience

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field. Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Industrialization, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, or New Product Introduction environments.
- Experience supporting engineering changes, configuration management, material readiness, or product industrialization activities.
- Experience working in a cross-functional product development environment, preferably within a high-tech, low-volume manufacturing industry.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers, planning organizations, procurement teams, and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives is preferred.

Working Environment

The Supply Chain Industrialization organization supports multiple technology and product development programs across the company. You will be part of a team of Product Lifecycle Management Project Coordinators responsible for ensuring supply chain readiness, material availability, and successful execution of product changes across one or more delivery teams.

The team works closely with Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Customer Support, and Suppliers to support product introductions, engineering changes, industrialization milestones, and operational readiness activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Meetings

As a key interface between Engineering and Supply Chain organizations, you will spend a significant portion of your time collaborating with stakeholders across the value chain. Examples include:

- Development & Engineering project and product readiness meetings.
- Supply chain industrialization and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Supplier alignment discussions regarding material availability, capacity, and readiness.
- Risk escalation and resolution meetings addressing critical material constraints.
- Cross-functional alignment meetings supporting engineering and configuration change implementations.
- Planning and procurement coordination meetings related to demand, supply, inventory, and operational readiness.
- Product lifecycle and industrialization milestone reviews to ensure successful execution and business continuity.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$99,000-136,125

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
