About this role

About Linero

Linero is building the operational infrastructure that ensures the world's most sensitive technologies reach the right hands, and never the wrong ones.

Our customers include some of the most consequential companies in the world: leading AI labs, aerospace and defense primes, semiconductor giants, quantum computing pioneers, and companies pushing the frontier in chemicals, advanced manufacturing, and robotics.

We are an AI-native, venture-backed company creating a new category of software at the intersection of national security, industrial infrastructure, and enterprise AI.

The Role

The Operations Associate at Linero will work across the company on a constantly evolving set of priorities, helping the team move faster and execute at an exceptionally high level.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone early in their career who is ambitious, resourceful, and energized by getting things done. You will take on projects across recruiting, operations, research, and other areas of the business, often jumping into problems that do not yet have a clear owner or playbook.

The scope of the role will evolve quickly as Linero grows. At different points, you may spend the majority of your time focused on a single company priority, while at others you will work across several initiatives simultaneously. You should be excited by that ambiguity rather than looking for a narrowly defined lane.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to develop an unusually broad understanding of how an early-stage company is built while working closely with Linero's leadership team.

What You'll Own

- Execute high-priority operational initiatives across the company
- Support recruiting and hiring efforts as we rapidly build the Linero team
- Conduct research and analysis to support product, operational, and business decisions
- Coordinate projects involving external partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Build lightweight processes and systems that help the company operate more effectively
- Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to make workflows across the company faster, more efficient, and higher quality
- Take ownership of important projects that do not fit neatly within another team's remit
- Identify problems, track down answers, and drive work through to completion
- Step into new areas of responsibility as the needs of the company evolve

What We're Looking For

- 1+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Exceptional work ethic and willingness to do whatever is required to get the job done
- Extremely organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Highly resourceful; you are comfortable figuring things out without a playbook
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with rapid context switching, changing priorities, and ambiguity
- A bias for action — you would rather take ownership and make progress than wait for perfect instructions
- High standards for your own work and strong attention to detail
- Low ego and a willingness to take on both large projects and unglamorous tasks
- Intellectually curious and eager to learn quickly
- Highly comfortable with AI tools and excited to find new ways to use them in day-to-day work
- Based in New York City

What We Offer

- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- Early equity in a company with proven market demand and a clear growth trajectory
- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
- Broad exposure to nearly every part of building an early-stage company
- Significant responsibility and room to grow quickly as Linero scales
- The opportunity to work on one of the most consequential technology and national-security challenges of our time
