Role purpose
This role will play a critical role in supporting the transformation of Retail Risk through advanced data capabilities, cloud migration, and strong data governance practices.
This role goes beyond traditional reporting, focusing on building scalable data solutions, ensuring data integrity, and enabling risk-driven decision-making across the organization.
Main activities
- Develop scalable data solutions to support risk-based decision-making.
- Analyse portfolios and risk indicators, such as delinquency, roll rates, vintage analysis and NCL.
- Automate processes and reporting using SAS, SQL, Python and visualisation tools.
- Contribute to cloud computing initiatives across environments such as GCP, AWS and Azure.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and traceability.
- Collaborate with Finance, Business, Technology and Risk teams globally.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and promote more efficient and innovative processes.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with continuous improvement mindset
- Strong SAS / SQL skills, as well as Python for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses)
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Qlik) and Advances Excel
- Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra)
- Intermediate English level, to interact with Global teams
- Experience in large-scale data transformation programs and code optimization
- Experience in Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications in Data Analytics, Cloud, or Risk (desirable)
