About the role

Positioned within Food eCom, a primary engine for Woolworths AU Food’s growth, this role joins the Digital Customer Growth team to acquire and retain high-value "connected customers." By delivering personalised, omnichannel strategies for shoppers who buy both in-store and online, you will directly drive business performance.

What you’ll do

As Marketing Manager, Digital Customer Acquisition, you will be responsible for designing and executing insight-led, full-funnel go-to-market strategies to ensure that Woolworths is the first choice for new to online shoppers. The purpose of this role is to encourage customers to digitally engage with Woolworths for the first time, and you will be responsible for working across the full spectrum of media channels, possessing a deep understanding of our customers, and developing campaigns and creative that are contextually relevant and drive cut-through with our audience.

- Translate customer, company and market insights into creative, multi-channel campaigns that build brand preference and drive conversions.
- Work with agency partners to translate business goals into campaigns that demonstrate the value that Woolworths eCom delivers to customers
- Apply a "test-and-learn" mindset to refine tactics, maximise marketing ROI, and ensure each campaign outperforms the last.
- Monitor campaign KPIs and collaborate with internal (WiQ) and agency partners to deliver actionable post-campaign insights.
- Deliver campaigns within approved budgets, managing purchase orders and participating in monthly financial reconciliations.
- Foster an inclusive, team first environment while actively driving personal growth to support broader business goals.
- Partner effectively across internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
- Ensure all marketing activities and customer data usage comply with legal obligations, ACMA guidelines, and Privacy Act standards.

What You’ll bring

- 5+ years in Digital, Comms & Advertising (agency experience valued) paired with a relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Marketing
- Proven track record leading end-to-end, multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, ATL, in-store) that achieve core business outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative/media agencies and broad internal stakeholder networks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to extract actionable insights, guide decisions, and measure effectiveness.
- Results-driven commercial mindset supported by high attention to detail, strong planning, and organizational capability.
- Comprehensive understanding of foundational marketing concepts and execution best practices across digital and traditional channels.
- Proven ability to remain agile and thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Naturally curious learner eager to explore the future of marketing, including AI and automation opportunities.
