Electrical CAD Technician

Location: Fort Worth, TX Are you an Electrical CAD professional looking to contribute to impactful infrastructure and utility projects? Key Responsibilities

- Develop and revise electrical and utility-related drawings using CAD software.
- Assist engineers and designers in creating high-quality design packages, construction drawings, and project documentation.
- Prepare and update permit, plot, and technical drawings based on project requirements.
- Ensure all drafting work complies with company, client, and industry standards.
- Support distribution, utility, and power delivery projects from concept through design.
- Research design challenges and collaborate with project teams to develop effective solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to drafting processes and standards.
- Maintain accuracy, quality, and attention to detail across all project deliverables.

Qualifications

- Experience with Civil 3D , utility design, distribution systems, or power delivery projects.
- Ability to create and revise plot plans and technical drawings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Associate degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- CAD certification and experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation are a plus.
- Self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career within the engineering industry.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
