About this role

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Lead Biomedical Electronics Technician, you will work with minimal supervision to assist the Clinical Engineering (CE) Manager in administering the daily operations of the shop.

Every day you will provide repair, incoming inspection, calibration, and maintenance services for various equipment within a healthcare environment.

To be successful in this role, you will ensure high standards of equipment reliability and safety while proactively supporting the team's operational needs.

- Utilizes the AIDET principle to communicate with others, with a focus on patients and their families. Acknowledge Introduce Explain Duration Thank.

- In conjunction with the CE Manager, interacts daily with hospital department managers, equipment users, physicians, and administrative staff concerning service usage issues.

- Communicates daily with CE Manager and effectively handles all service emergencies.

- Provides coverage and support for CE Manager during manager’s absence if needed.

- Maintains life support equipment.

- Provides technical support and assistance to Clinical Engineering technicians.

Job Requirements

Required

Associates Other; Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates, or equivalent experience upon hire or equivalent experience and

Minimum of sever (7) to nine (9) years experince servicing technical equipment

Driver's License: CA (AUTO:CA)

Preferred

Bachelors Other upon hire

Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)

Certified Radiology Equipment Specialists (CRES)

Certified Healthcare Tech Manager (CHTM)
