We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of  Assistant Manager, Mortgage Specialist.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for all the Mortgage and Premier referral sales activities at branches and to manage the mortgage specialist sales force. In order to achieve the assigned team min standards and ultimately contributing towards the mobile sales team and branch’s bottom line, whilst maintaining his/her own selling/cross-selling skills in order to confidently coach and counsel members of the sales team.  Develops sales plans which are corresponds to IWPB business and ensures effective implementation of business strategies to maximize profitability and attainment of strategic and operating objectives.

The role will:

- Undertake product sales using EDRAS based sales process to discover and manage customer needs
- Ensure delivery of a consistently excellent customer experience
- Implement Group mandates on risk management and regulatory compliance
- Actively refer Premier and Wealth opportunities to branches etc based on customer need

Principal Responsibilities:

- Achieve performance expectations and contribute towards the mobile sales’ business and bottom line, in line with the IWPB strategic direction.
- Building a high-performance sales culture and execute tactical action plans & sourcing potential clients for new business opportunities to grow affluent segments customer
- Accelerate business growth and enhance customer experience by conducting impactful client presentations and fostering relationship with high-potential customers
- Handle escalated customer complaints with timely and professional resolution
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and maintain personal conduct that is in line with HSBC values and code of conduct
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, branch staffs and external stakeholders to support business objectives
- Act as a bridge between frontline staffs, management and cross functional departments to ensure smooth execution and alignment with Bank’s direction
- Driving, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within all relationships to have an inclusive environment toward both colleagues and customers
- Ensure 100% completion of mandatory training within deadlines
- Responsible for creating a positive staff morale, motivation and actively manages performance of the sales team
- To safeguard the Bank from loss and always protects the Bank reputation
- Understand and adhere to regulations and regulatory guidance that apply to my role, promptly reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures.
- Maintain sufficient and effective processes and controls by identifying and mitigating risks and ensure timely escalation and resolution of all control issues and reputation risks.
- Ensure adherence to applicable Global, regional and country standards and policies
- Deliver fair outcomes for customers and support the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
  Qualifications:

Essential

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Banking sales or Mortgage sales with team lead experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to execute tactical sales plans and strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently, self-driven and results-focused
- Highly motivated and flexible in working across complex cross-functional work structures within the bank and externally with regulators, business partners and industry committee

Desired

- Demonstrated experience in acquiring affluent segment with strong products knowledge in Cards, Loan and Borrowing products
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify customer acquisition trend and opportunities
